Israeli air strikes targeted two Hamas-run police checkpoints in Khan Younis in southern Gaza, killing at least six Palestinians, including a child, according to local health officials.
Medics said three policemen and three civilians died, with four others wounded. The Israeli military has not yet commented on the attack.
Violence has continued despite a ceasefire in place for over five months. Health authorities say more than 680 Palestinians have been killed since the truce began.
