‘Hates India so much’: Laura Loomer attacks Tucker Carlson over comments on US-Israel ties – The Times of India

Right-wing commentator Laura Loomer has accused Fox News host Tucker Carlson of being โ€œa fraudโ€ and of hating India, saying he attacks the country in the same way he criticises Israel.โ€œItโ€™s so funny watching @TuckerCarlson attack India the same way heโ€™s attacking Israel to simp for Muslims,โ€ Loomer wrote on X. She added: โ€œHow long before he interviews jihadist leaders in Pakistan? Tucker hates India so much, he manufactures his nicotine patchesโ€ฆ IN INDIA! Tucker is a FRAUD!โ€The comments come after Carlson in a podcast discussed Israelโ€™s strategic alliances and the countryโ€™s relationship with India. In the clip, Carlson questions the United Statesโ€™ role as Israelโ€™s ally, saying: โ€œPublic opinion in this country has swung against us so hard. This bipartisan consensus that we’re its closest ally is disintegrating before our very eyes. And let’s be honest with ourselves, this is not going to continue forever. We need another country to be aligned with.โ€Carlson suggests Israel is considering India as a partner over the United States, citing Indiaโ€™s size, population, and nuclear capabilities. โ€œNow, how many big countries are there to choose from? It’s got to be physically large, big population, nuclear-armed. Not too many. In fact, the big ones would be China and India. But China, unfortunately, is a Han ethno-stateโ€ฆ And that leaves India.โ€He also talked about Prime Minister Narendra Modiโ€™s recent address to the Knesset on โ€œthe ancient ties between Israel and India,โ€ and suggested that Israel could benefit from weakening the United States in a potential conflict with Iran. โ€œFrom an American perspective, seem horrifying, like real downsidesโ€ฆ Are they so bad from an Israeli perspective? No, theyโ€™re not, actually. They may be the point long-term.โ€
