Territorial Army is set to conduct the Territorial Army Commission Examination 2026 on July 12, 2026. With registrations now over, candidates are waiting for the release of their admit cards. According to the official notification, admit cards will be made available online 10 to 15 days before the examination. Based on the announced exam date, candidates can expect their hall tickets to be released in the last week of June or the first few days of July, unless the schedule is revised.

The first stage of the recruitment process is a Computer-Based Test (CBT), scheduled for July 12. The exam will be conducted across centres in different parts of the country.The paper will carry 100 questions for 100 marks and will be completed in two hours. It will consist of three sections — Reasoning (40 questions), General Knowledge (30 questions) and English (30 questions).Candidates should note that wrong answers will attract a penalty. One-third of the marks assigned to a question will be deducted for every incorrect response. Questions marked for review will be treated as unanswered.The Territorial Army Directorate will decide the qualifying marks for the examination.
Territotial Army Recruitment 2026 : Objection window, SSB interview
The notification states that an objection management link will be activated on the official website 72 hours after the examination.Candidates will be able to raise concerns regarding questions or answer keys, if any. The link will remain active for only three days. Response sheets will also be shared through registered email IDs.Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for the Service Selection Board (SSB) process.The SSB selection procedure has two stages. On the first day, candidates will undergo a Psychological Aptitude Test and an Intelligence Test. Those who clear Stage 1 will proceed to the remaining tests. Candidates who do not qualify will be sent back the same day.Separate merit lists will be prepared for male and female candidates based on their performance in the written examination and SSB tests.Candidates who clear all stages will undergo up to six months of pre-commission training. Commissioning into the Territorial Army will be granted only after successful completion of this training.The notification has announced a total of 12 vacancies, including 11 for male candidates and one for a female candidate.
